We Go Boldly with Tovah Kopan & Rielly Karsh

All of our lives are busy. Wearing many hats and multitasking is the norm, but as a mom of twins while a 2L in law school, I’ve probably earned a gold star in busyness.

Recently I joined Rielly Karsh and Tovah Kopan on their podcast, We Go Boldly via Go Boldly Initiative, to talk about busyness and worth. They really go deep with these interviews and make it an absolutely cathartic experience for both the guest and the listeners.

There were so many amazing topics discussed in this podcast that my fellow busybodies could benefit from hearing. I can’t thank Rielly and Tovah enough for letting me be a part of it and spread this great message.

A few things we talked about in this personal interview:

  • How (and why) I made the transition from wanting a career in theater to the opposite end of the spectrum. The two have more in common than you think.

  • The many facets of our personalities and how it's okay to let each one shine in their own right.

  • Where my self-worth came from and where it is now.

  • What happened to get me from Biglaw to becoming an Accredited Financial Counselor.

  • Success and self-worth don’t have to be tied together.

  • How time blocking and management is currently saving my sanity and allowing me to live my best life.

Listen to the whole podcast here, seriously, it's like a good book, you won’t be able to stop. https://we-go-boldly-podcast.simplecast.com/episodes/episode-82-busyness-and-worth-with-jessica-medina
