FIRE for Lawyers

What if you don’t want to work forever? What if you don’t even want to work until 7pm every night? Yes, people actually go home before dinner!!

The FIRE (Financial Independence/Retire Early) Movement is all about hitting your financial goals NOW so you can get to a point in your life where you no longer have to have an active job to maintain a comfortable lifestyle.

And if we’re talking about the FIRE Movement, then there’s no one better to help me get the message out than Rho Thomas.

Like me, Rho is a former Biglaw associate who knows what it’s like to feel stuck and want to make big changes in her life. Time is our most limited resource and Rho shows her clients how to use money as a tool to buy back their time.

She’s on a mission to help you master your money so you can create freedom and choice in your life.

This Zoominar is jam- packed with words of wisdom and resources, but be sure to watch the full video so you don’t miss anything!

Here are a few points Rho and I chatted about:

  • How much you’ll need to be considered Financially Independent

  • The most important number when implementing FIRE

  • The Two different FIRE Techniques particularly good for lawyers

  • What maxing your retirement savings for 10 years can mean for future savings

  • How to put away more money while your income stays static

If you want to know more about Rho you can check out her website www.RhoThomas.com.
